I am currently working on a series of small oil sketches of the eroding cliff coastline at Barton-on-Sea where we live. Possibly some larger paintings will ensue as a result in time. There are some quite striking images to be found.

Coastal erosion is quite an issue along the south coast of England, as it is in many parts of the British Isles, so it seems relevant to look at the effects, sometimes fairly dramatic, from an artistic point of view.

I am also continuing to explore sculptural ideas using a variety of woods, glasses and metals with a view to a new series of work later in the year.
